Why? A poetic path through loss towards healing

This illustrated book was comissioned by the independent author Jennifer Stebral. It will be available on Amazon soon.

I created the concept of the images, the storyboard, painted the illustrations with watercolors, and designed the book.

The poem “Why?” by Jenny Stebral is a dialogue between an adult and a child, both undergoing a grieving process after the death of a loved one.

Through the metaphorical story of a tree, the illustrations portray the healing journey of the characters, unfolding slowly and subtly, similar to the processes of nature.
