Why? A poetic path through loss towards healing

The poem “Why?” by Jenny Stebral is a dialogue between an adult and a child, both undergoing a grieving process after the death of a loved one.

Through the metaphorical story of a tree, the illustrations portray the healing journey of the characters, unfolding slowly and subtly, similar to the processes of nature.
